At the January Board of Education meeting, Jenny Sage was honored with a Bridge Builder Award, presented by Jill Waliczek, Principal of Omni High School.

At the January board meeting, Karol Shepler was recognized with a Bridge Builder Award—an honor that couldn’t be more deserved. Ms. Shepler serves as the RTC Room Supervisor at Carrollton Middle School and has dedicated 19 years to Carrollton Public Schools, including 18½ years supporting students in the Responsible Thinking Center (RTC).

Mr. Kutsch said that to put it simply, Ms. Sheplar is at her very best when our students are having their hardest days—helping them regain control, reflect on their choices, and move forward.

And if that wasn’t enough, Ms. Sheplar also serves as the middle school parking lot crossing guard, keeping our students safe each day.
