Please join the CHS Band as they present an evening of music in preparation for their District Band and Orchestra Association performance! The concert will take place on Wednesday, February 21 @ 7:00pm in the CHS Gym. The band will welcome Mr. Matthew Wicke, Director of Bands at St. Charles Public Schools as their guest judge / clinician for the evening! At tonight’s board meeting, Whitney Snow and Simone Hardy were given the Bridge Builder Award in recognition of giving their time during after school and athletic events as members of the Carrollton Athletic Association, and through the demonstrated leadership they provide as leaders of the Carrollton Township Recreation Department, ensuring that all students have opportunities to explore their athletic interests. #BuildingStrongerTogether

Explore several different areas of STEM at the Ecstatic About STEM! Event at Delta College on March 29th!. Students in grades 5 - 10 will have an opportunity to empower one another, investigate coding, drones and circuits, go behind the scenes of PBS, and get hands on with the STEM Explorer. In honor of Fur Baby February, the Carrollton High School Chapter of the National Honor Society is sponsoring the Saginaw County Animal Care & Control shelter. Currently, the shelter is in need of "milk bone" style treats, blankets, towels, and financial donations. (Any blanket or throw is fine, but PLEASE no sheets or comforters.) All donations can be dropped off at the CHS Main Office. As an added bonus, Ofc. Kyle Kaylor, our School Resource Officer, has offered to match funds up to $1000 on all financial donations! STEM@SVSU and the GLBR East Chief Science Officers are excited to offer a FREE Teen Science Café on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm. Teen Science Café events allow teens and STEM professionals to engage in meaningful conversations and explore advances in science and technology. This event is open to any student in 6th - 12th grade in the Great Lakes Bay Region (Arenac, Bay, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Midland, Saginaw counties), as well as Huron and Tuscola counties. Reminder that tomorrow is a 1/2 day for students (release at 11:30a) and Parent-Teacher Conferences will run from 4p - 7:30p On half-days, we do expect all of our in-person students to attend.
