Due to the extreme heat forecasted for the remainder of the day, we have made the decision to close Omni High School on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, for all PM classes. This decision was made in consideration of the well-being of our students, as high temperatures in this building can pose significant health risks.
During this closure, we encourage families to take necessary precautions to stay cool and hydrated. Please ensure that your children are engaged in safe indoor activities and have access to plenty of water.
We will continue to monitor the weather situation and will keep you updated. At this time, we anticipate classes will resume as normal on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Our priority is to ensure a safe environment for all students and staff.
