Saturday, May 3rd | 9:00 AM | Carrollton High School Our community partner, the Carrollton Lions Club, is hosting a fun-filled Walk/Run/Bike 5K — and everyone is invited! There’s no entry fee — just bring your smiles and, if you can, a donation to support Leader Dog for the Blind. Kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes and join in the celebration as we help make a difference for people who are blind. We’ll be starting and finishing at Carrollton High School. Flyer for the 24th Annual Run, Walk, Ride for the Blind 5K. The event is on May 3rd at 9:00 AM at the CHS football parking lot. Participants are encouraged to bring bikes and strollers to decorate before the race; supplies will be provided. This is a community event with donations only, and all proceeds will go to Leader Dogs for the Blind. There is information about adopting a puppy to train for a year through the Leader Dogs program. The event is sponsored by the Carrollton Lions Club and held in memory of Carrollton Elementary School teacher Christine Novak.
