Due to the snow day, as well as our basketball team playing in a Championship game tonight at the same time, we are going to postpone our Jungle Book Cast lock-in once again and wait until April for our cast party.

Tomorrow night at 5:30 is our Family Literacy Night. This free event is the kickoff to March is Reading month, and we can't wait to celebrate with you CES!
Boys and Girls Club will NOT be opening today due to the inclement weather. Please make alternative arrangements for pick up.
We will still be transporting 3rd graders that are attending Sylvan to their tutoring session after school.

As a gentle reminder, Carrollton Public Schools will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2023 for President's Day.
School will reopen on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 7:45 am for traditional buildings and 8:10 am for Omni High School.

In light of recent events, I want you to know that we continue to make safety a top priority in our school district. Our local authorities, staff, and students know safety protocols and how to apply them when situations arise. I hope you find comfort in knowing your students are safe here at Carrollton Public Schools. Today, we will continue with normal operations in each school building. Good Morning,
We know and appreciate that everyone is doing the best they can do every day ,and that the stress of each day is different. Due to recent incidents in our parking lot, I feel the need to remind everyone of expectations when on school grounds. While we understand that patience can grow thin when waiting for drop off and pick up, it is important that we model healthy and productive ways of dealing with stress for our children.
As always, inappropriate language and aggressive driving are not acceptable at Carrollton Elementary, and can result in a banning from our campus. Thank you for everything you do to help keep our school safe, and for working with us to teach these beautiful children to be the best people they can be.

Being present on Count Day, for all classes, for the full day of school, secures membership as a Carrollton Public Schools student.
