Stay active Try to be active for at least one hour a day. Get enough sleep Getting enough sleep is important for all ages, especially for children. Fight germs Wash your hands, thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, mouth, and nose. Manage stress The holidays can be stressful, so try to find healthy ways to reduce stress levels. Dress warm Wear appropriate outdoor clothing: light, warm layers, gloves, hats, and boots. Health & wellness Holiday break is a great time for health appointments.

Congratulations to CMS Science Teacher & CHS E-Sports Coordinator, Trevor Sanchez Deleon who was recognized at the board meeting for his leadership and coaching of the CHS E-Sports team. Mr. Sanchez Deleon brought the idea from his experience with the SVSU team during his student teaching in science at CHS. 25 students participated in the fall season, which was the first for our team. Some highlights from the ESports season include: 3 Teams (Titles) Valorant, Super Smash Brothers 2, Overwatch 2 - Overwatch 2: State Runners Up for that title. Lost 3-1 to Novi in the State Championship Game through Michigan High School E-sports League (MHSEL) - Super Smash Brothers 2: Qualified for the MHSEL playoffs, losing in the early rounds. Ranked 28th in the state for that title. - Valorant: Difficult game... Didn't make the playoffs. ❤️🤍🖤 #CavalierPride #BuildingStrongerTogether
