Flyer for Carrollton High School’s Senior FAFSA & College Night on Thursday, October 15, from 5:30–7:00 PM in the Carrollton High School library. Seniors and families may drop in or stay for the entire event. The evening will provide step-by-step help completing the FAFSA, which can help students access grants, scholarships, work-study opportunities, and federal student loans. College and career representatives will also offer on-site admissions assistance. Raffles, door prizes, free refreshments, and one-on-one help from financial aid experts and counselors will be available. Families should bring the student’s Social Security number or Alien Registration Number, parent or guardian Social Security numbers if applicable, most recent federal tax returns and W-2 forms, records of untaxed income and assets, and student and parent FSA IDs if already created. Staff can help families create FSA IDs at the event. Questions may be directed to the Combined College & Career Counseling Offices of Carrollton High School and OMNI Alternative High School at Bkaur@gocavs.net or 989-399-7063.

Promotional flyer for the Abbott and Big Ten “We Give Blood” campaign. Blood donors can help their school climb the leaderboard and receive an exclusive college T-shirt while supplies last. To participate, donate blood anywhere in the United States between August 12 and December 4, save proof of the donation, and log it at BigTen.org/Abbott or text GIVEBLOOD to 222688 (ABBOTT). Donations must be logged to count toward a school’s total. The flyer includes a QR code, examples of acceptable proof of donation, and images of limited-edition T-shirts representing participating Big Ten schools.
