Carrollton Public Schools proudly celebrates the Class of 2026 as they conclude their journey as students and prepare to begin their next chapter as Carrollton alumni. This week has been filled with meaningful traditions, memorable moments, and celebrations honoring the accomplishments of Carrollton High School graduates, culminating today with commencement ceremonies.
The Carrollton High School Class of 2026 began the week together with their Senior Trip before returning to participate in one of the school’s most cherished traditions—the Candlelight Ceremony. Dressed in their graduation gowns, seniors symbolically passed the flame of leadership to the Class of 2027, recognizing both the legacy they leave behind and the future they help inspire.
The event also celebrated student achievements through awards and recognitions and featured a slideshow reflecting the friendships, milestones, and memories created throughout their years together. The week concluded with Senior Sunset at Cavalier Stadium, offering graduates one final opportunity to gather as classmates before officially becoming alumni.
The members of the Carrollton High School Class of 2026 have demonstrated remarkable dedication, leadership, resilience, and service throughout their educational journeys. Their accomplishments in academics, athletics, student leadership, fine arts, and community involvement reflect the very heart of #TheCavalierDifference.
Among those being recognized are Valedictorian Aubrey Wood and Salutatorian Sha’Mari Voltz, whose achievements represent the highest levels of academic excellence.

Following graduation, Aubrey plans to attend Delta College to study kinesiology while continuing her volleyball career before transferring to a four-year university to complete a degree in occupational therapy.
Sha’Mari Voltz, daughter of ShaKeisha Voltz, has proudly called Carrollton home since kindergarten. During her time at Carrollton High School, she excelled academically while participating in basketball, track and field, and National Honor Society.
