Dear Cavalier Families,
Welcome December!
As we approach the end of the fall season and welcome the winter months, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements and experiences we have shared as a school community. It has been a time filled with growth, learning, and connection, and I am truly grateful for the dedication and support of our students, staff, and families.
This fall, there were many outstanding accomplishments in academics, athletics, and the arts. Our students continue to make academic growth, showing gains in reading and math. Our students excelled in sports competitions such as Cross Country, Esports, Robotics, and Volleyball. Our students showcased their talents by serving as leaders at the AI Catalyst conference in Lansing, our varsity girls volleyball team received all academic honors for achieving a team 3.7 gpa, and our middle and high school student council groups led the way in giving back to those in need through their partnership with United Way and the Carrollton Lions Club. These achievements demonstrate the hard work and commitment of our educators, the enthusiasm of our students, and the unwavering support from our families. We are incredibly proud of every Cavalier!
As we transition into winter, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for your involvement in our school community. Your participation in events, whether through volunteering, attending meetings, or simply encouraging your children, has made a significant impact on our school environment. Together, we have fostered a sense of belonging and pride that enriches the educational experience for all.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our schools. As always, I am available and would love to speak with you. Please reach out via email tpeterson@gocavs.net, phone 989-754-1475, or if you would like to stop by, make an appointment with my executive assistant. I wish you all a joyful and peaceful December!
With Cavalier Pride,
